On June 1, 2020, the California Attorney General submitted its Final Regulations to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and submitted it to the California Office of Administrative Law (“OAL”). While the final regulations are pending review the OAL, the Attorney General has started its enforcement of the CCPA statute as of July 1, 2020, and the Californians for Consumer Privacy announced that it had collected enough signatures to qualify the California Privacy Rights and Enforcement Act of 2020 (“CPRA”) for the upcoming ballot in counties across California in November.

With the CCPA already in enforcement, it has left many wondering if the CPRA would amend the CCPA to create additional privacy rights and obligations in California. Attend our webinar to learn the latest news and its impact on your Financial Institution.

Our webinar will cover:

  • Issuance of Final Attorney General (AG) regulations
