On February 8, 2016, our office responded to the NCUA’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking Regarding the Chartering and Field of Membership Manual (the “Proposed Rule”). Our comments can be found here.

SW&M commented on the manner in which the Proposed Rule would treat industrial parks and the impact it may have as it pertains to the relationship between community and employment-based charters.
