Our team continues to grow! We are proud to announce Alex Wade has joined SW&M!

Alex has joined SW&M as an Associate Attorney, and has a diverse background in litigation. He has handled matters involving financial services and consumer litigation defense, complex business litigation, governmental liability and insurance entity defense and personal injury law. Alex has represented clients in state and federal courts, at trial and on appeal. He has extensive experience in both individual and class action litigation, and has successfully defended national banks, collection agencies, loan servicers, and community credit unions from claims involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”) and California consumer protection laws. He has also represented public entities in premises liability, torts and personal injury cases.

Prior to joining SW&M, Alex worked at a law firm specializing in the defense of financial institutions. He also previously worked at the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Florida, where he dealt extensively with the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, Dodd-Frank and business licensing laws/regulations.
