About Cristina Miller

Cristina Miller is a Partner at SW&M and the leader of the Labor and Employment practice group. Her work in human resources law involves helping clients maneuver through complex matters in the labor market and workplace. Cristina’s practice includes advising boards and management teams on executive compensation matters, particularly deferred compensation plans including split dollar plans and IRC 457(f) plans. Cristina also provides expertise in real estate, governance, executive compensation and credit union business.

Cristina frequently works with board and audit committees on strategy and facilitates and attends board meetings and strategic planning sessions. Additionally, she is often invited by national banking organizations and clients to speak and provide training on various regulatory topics by CUNA, HRD Network, NAFCU and the Western CUNA Management School.

Cristina has a passion for education and mentorship. Growing up as a native Spanish-speaker, she has a particular appreciation for working with diverse communities. This affinity led her to become a member of the Global Women’s Leadership Organization where she helps to inspire and guide other women to reach their career potential. She is most proud of raising her two strong daughters alongside of her husband and dogs. When she’s not cheering them on at their sporting events, she can be found cooking and dreaming about travel.
