About Haley Rebel
Haley Rebel is a Partner at SW&M and leader the Contracts and Intellectual Property practice groups as well as a member of the Real Estate practice group. Haley joined the team as a law clerk and rapidly worked her way up. In 2013, she became the youngest attorney to make partner in the firm’s history. Today, she is nationally recognized as a resource for complex technology contracts in the fintech industry.
Haley strives to discover new and innovative methods to solve her clients’ problems. She drafts and negotiates various fintech agreements including online and mobile banking, core processing, payment systems, and other ancillary products. Annually, Haley negotiates approximately 150+ transactions exceeding $80 million . In addition, Haley assists clients in formation and investment in emerging fintech technologies. While specializing in intellectual property, Haley assists with obtaining service marks and trademarks, along with handling disputes regarding patents, copyrights, and trade secrets. She also regularly advises clients on various issues involving data privacy, cybersecurity, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and personnel matters.
Outside of the office, Haley and her husband are devoted fur and human parents to a son and a Shiba Inu. When Haley is not reviewing contracts, she is traveling, spending time at the beach or the mountains, snowboarding, and tasting wines from around the world.
